From Taylor:
"Built on the all-star tonewood pairing of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce, the 812ce offers players a more compact take on the flagship Taylor experience. This compact Grand Concert acoustic-electric serves up a richly textured sound with lush overtones, crisp trebles and a warm low range, articulate enough for fingerstyle play but powerful enough for traditional strumming and flatpicking. V-Class bracing helps dial up more volume and longer sustain, and the radius-style rosewood armrest makes for an even more welcoming feel. Subtle, yet striking appointments include a smoky ebony fretboard, maple binding, an abalone rosette and a super-thin full-body gloss finish. The 812ce includes ES2 electronics and ships with a hardshell case."
Tobacco Sunburst, Grand Concert body shape with the Venetian cutaway and radiused Indian Rosewood armrest, Sitka Spruce top, Single Ring Abalone Rosette, V-Class bracing with Relief Rout, Indian Rosewood back and sides, Rock Maple binding with Indian Rosewood top edge trim, West African Crelicam Ebony fingerboard with the Mother of Pearl Element inlays on a Tropical Mahogany neck, 24 7/8th” scale length, 1 3/4” nut width, With the Expression 2 pickup system and hardshell case
